CHICAGO — With three home runs on the afternoon, the Chicago Cubs (73-61) topped the Milwaukee Brewers (68-66) at Wrigley Field on Friday. Winning 7-1 behind a 2-homer performance from right fielder Nicholas Castellanos, the Cubs collected 11 hits and never trailed.

Cubs starting pitcher Jose Quintana pitched well in his 5 2/3 scoreless innings on the mound. The Brewers' sole run was plated via an eighth-inning single, which was soon followed by a solo dinger off the bat of Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber that rounded out the scoring in the contest.
