CINCINNATI — The Chicago Cubs (4-1) won their third straight game on Tuesday, pounding out 12 hits in an 8-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds (1-4). Shortstop
Javy Baez led the way for the Cubs with two home runs at Great American Ball Park.
Cubs pitcher Alec Mills showed plenty of promise in his six innings pitched. Mills is currently filling the spot in the rotation left behind by Jose Quintana, who is on the injured list. Former Cubs outfielder Nicholas Castellanos went yard for the first time in a Reds uniform, but Chicago came out on top.
