Cubs lineup vs. Pirates on Monday

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Cubs (10-8) will play against the Pittsburgh Pirates (8-10) at 6:05 p.m. CDT on Monday night on WGN-TV and ESPN. The newcomer Brett Anderson (1-0, 4.40 ERA) will take the mound for the defending World Champions and he will be opposed by righty Chad Kuhl (1-1, 2.60 ERA).

The Cubs are currently 0.5 games in front of the Reds in the National League Central. However, the Pirates swept the Northsiders earlier this month so it should be a highly contested series. One roster tidbit is that Pirates outfielder Starling Marte is currently on an 80-game PED suspension.
