The Chicago Cubs (16-12) will play against the New York Yankees (17-9) at 1:20 p.m. CDT on Friday afternoon on CSN Chicago and MLB Network. Kyle Hendricks will take the mound for the defending World Champions.

The Cubs are currently in first place in the National League Central and 1.5 games ahead of the Brewers.

One other interesting note is that former Cubs flamethrower Aroldis Chapman will be given his Cubs diamond Championship ring in a pre-game ceremony before Friday afternoon's game.
