CHICAGO — Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant put the Cubs on the scoreboard against the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday night. With the A's boasting a commanding 11-0 lead, Bryant made the score 11-2 with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth.

Bryant's 22nd homer of the season, the 439-footer sailed out to left at Wrigley Field and plated outfielder Nicholas Castellanos, who doubled in the previous at-bat. The blast off current A's and former Cubs hurler Brett Anderson was smoked off the bat at 108 miles per hour and sported a launch angle of 27 degrees.
