Bryzzo is having some back issues.

First, Anthony Rizzo and now Kris Bryant is having to deal with some back issues, problematic enough they he has been scratched for tonight's exhibition game against the Minnesota Twins.

Cubs manager David Ross told the media Wednesday that Bryant was experiencing some lower back tightness but fully expects his star third baseman to be ready for the opener on Friday.

"Just trying to be cautious. If today's a regular-season game, Kris plays," Ross said.

In 2019, Bryant hit .282 with 31 homers and 77 RBIs.
