Made his season debut, Aug. 10 vs. Milwaukee (1.0 IP) ... went on to make 22 relief appearances and converted five of eight save opportunities... Recorded 11.35 strikeouts per 9.0 innings (29 SO/23.0 IP) and held the opponent scoreless in 16 of 22 outings... Three times tied a career mark with 2.0 scoreless innings of relief, last done Sept. 12 vs. the Giants.

2020
Rowan posted four saves and a 3.12 ERA (6 ER/17.1 IP) in 19 relief outings this season...was placed on the 10-day injured list, September 19 (retro to September 17), with a left oblique strain and missed the remainder of the season...Did not allow a run in 15 of his 19 appearances...allowed two runs in consecutive outings, August 22 vs. the White Sox and August 26 at Detroit...pitched to a 1.10 ERA (2 ER/16.1 IP) in his other 17 outings...Limited righties to a .243 average (9-for-37), while lefties batted .290 (9-for-31)…Collected four saves in a six-outing stretch from August 1-18...converted all four of his save chances.

Claimed off waivers by San Diego in February, Rowan excelled in the minors, posting a 2.67 ERA (16 ER/54.0 IP) in 49 relief outings ... made his major league debut, August 31 vs. Colorado (1.0 IP, 0 R), and appeared in 10 games for San Diego ... Did not allow a run in eight of his 10 outings with the Padres ... allowed six runs in 8.1 innings ... five of the runs came in one outing against Cincinnati, September 7 ... had a 1.29 ERA (1 ER/7.0 IP) in his other nine outings ... Converted 14-of-16 save chances with Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A El Paso ... Was named a mid-season All-Star with San Antonio ... Went 2-0 with a 1.99 ERA (5 ER/22.2 IP) in 20 games with El Paso.

2017
Combined with Memphis (AAA), Springfield (AA) and the GCL Cardinals (R) to post a 2-1 record with a 3.19 ERA and six saves in 34 relief appearances...Began the season with Memphis and went 1-1 with a 5.52 ERA (9 ER, 14.2 IP) from 4/7-5/29 across 12 relief outings...Made two separate stints on the seven-day DL with right shoulder tendonitis (5/12-25) and right bicep tendonitis (6/1-7/10)...Sent on a rehab assignment to the GCL Cards pm 6/3 for three relief appearances before being assigned to Springfield on 7/10...Converted all five of his saves opportunities in Springfield with a 2.08 ERA...scoreless in 14 of his 16 outings and limited hitters to a .208 average...Recalled by Memphis on 9/2 and made two relief appearances in the PCL playoffs, going 1-0 with a 6.75 ERA and three strikeouts...Pitched on consecutive days only once during the season while on rehab in the Gulf Coast League (7/8-9)...Represented Canada in the World Baseball Classic in March and made two relief appearances with a 5.40 ERA (1 ER, 1.2 IP).
