Batted .603 with 13 doubles, five triples, six homers, 34 RBIs and 24 stolen bases in 25 games at Mater Academy in 2012. ... Was named USA Baseball's 2011 Athlete of the Year after helping the 18-and-Under squad go 9-0 and capture the gold medal at the Pan-Am Games, where he was named tournament MVP. ...
